Reception Space
John Wyatt is an artist who has been painting for over 40 years, originally taking up painting in the 1970s . John’s career was in education, in schools initially and mostly, until retirement, in higher education colleges. In sequence, he became Principal of 3 Colleges of Education, the last being the West Sussex Institute, now the University of Chichester.
During lockdown, John found himself like many people, in need of creativity. He started painting still life based on objects he found in his home. The focus was celebrating the joy of every day.
John has named this exhibition Locked in commitment to remind himself of the commitment he made to using creativity to keep him connected. 9 of his Paintings will be on display in the Reception Space 7-21 Dec.
